This guide covers how to get Vitality Blast tickets in 2026, the cheapest ways to go, and what to expect on matchday for T20 cricket.
Insider Tip
Vitality Blast group stage games at smaller county grounds like Chelmsford, Worcester, and Northampton are rarely sold out and tickets are available right up to matchday for around £12-15. These grounds also feel more intimate than bigger stadiums, which makes the T20 atmosphere even better at close quarters.
What Is the Vitality Blast?
The Vitality Blast is England’s domestic T20 cricket competition. All 18 first-class counties take part, split into two groups of 9. Each side plays 14 group stage games before quarter-finals, semi-finals, and Finals Day.
The 2026 Vitality Blast season runs from June to September, with group stage games from mid-June through August and Finals Day at Edgbaston in late August or early September.
Games are mostly played in the evening on weekdays with start times around 6:30pm, plus weekend afternoon games. Floodlit evening T20 cricket is one of the best live sport experiences in England for the price.
How to Buy Vitality Blast Tickets
There is no ballot for Vitality Blast games. It is straightforward to buy.
Step 1: Find your county’s fixture list on the ECB website (ecb.co.uk/vitality-blast) or directly on the county club’s website.
Step 2: Click through to the county’s ticketing page. Most counties sell through their own website or via a third-party ticketing platform like Ticketmaster or SeatGeek.
Step 3: Select your game, choose your stand or terrace, and pay online. Most counties allow print-at-home or mobile tickets.
Walk-up tickets: For most group stage games at smaller grounds, you can turn up on the day and buy at the gate. Check the county’s website to confirm walk-up availability for the specific fixture you want.
Vitality Blast Ticket Prices 2026
T20 cricket is one of the cheapest forms of live sport in England. Group stage games typically run:
Adults: £12-22 depending on ground and fixture. Bigger games at Edgbaston or Old Trafford cost more than county games at Chelmsford or Bristol.
Under-16s: Free or £1-5 at most counties. Some counties offer free entry for juniors accompanied by a paying adult throughout the group stage.
Family tickets: Most counties offer family packages (2 adults and 2 children) for around £35-50.
Finals Day: Tickets start from around £30 for adults. This sells out months in advance. Set a reminder for when tickets go on sale.
Vitality Blast Finals Day 2026
Finals Day is hosted at Edgbaston, Birmingham. It is the biggest day in the English T20 cricket calendar, with two semi-finals and a final played on the same day in front of a capacity crowd.
Finals Day 2026 is expected in early September. Tickets go on sale several months in advance and sell out quickly. The 2025 Finals Day sold out within hours of going on general sale.

Best Vitality Blast Fixtures to Watch in 2026
Roses T20 (Yorkshire vs Lancashire): Always a big occasion. Old Trafford and Headingley both generate strong atmospheres for the Roses fixture. Tickets go fast. Book early.
Surrey vs Kent at The Oval: One of the best T20 atmospheres in the south. The Oval holds 25,000 and a full house for a local derby is excellent.
Essex vs Kent at Chelmsford: A smaller ground (roughly 7,000 capacity) that creates a loud and close atmosphere for T20 cricket. Tickets are affordable and rarely hard to get.
Hampshire vs Sussex at the Ageas Bowl: Good modern ground, usually a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere with evening sunshine in August.
For the full Vitality Blast fixture list, check the ECB website at ecb.co.uk. Fixtures for the 2026 season are usually published in February or March.
